My packages start at €1,999 for Pure (up to 4 hours) and go up to €5,999 for Prestige (up to 12 hours). This explains what the price depends on and how deposit and booking work with me.

What does a wedding photographer in Vienna cost with Marina Danilova?

With me, Pure starts from €1,999, Signature from €3,999 and Prestige from €5,999. For weddings abroad and multi-day celebrations there is Bespoke, which I quote on request. These are starting prices; I give you the exact amount in a proposal for your day.

Pure includes coverage of up to 4 hours, 200 edited images and 20 professionally retouched highlights. Signature is up to 8 hours, 400 images and 40 highlights; Prestige is up to 12 hours, 600 images and 60 highlights.

Pure suits civil ceremonies and small celebrations. Signature tells your wedding day as one connected story of reportage and portraits. Prestige covers the day from getting ready to the celebration.

What determines the price of wedding photography?

Mainly on the time I spend with you. A day with getting ready, ceremony, portraits and celebration takes more hours than a ceremony followed by a meal. The number of images I edit matters too, and how many of them receive detailed retouching.

Place and travel play a part as well. If the ceremony and the celebration are far apart, or I have to travel to you, we discuss possible travel costs in the proposal beforehand. If a lot happens at the same time, such as both of you getting ready, I can add a second photographer for parallel events. I give you their price in the proposal.

Which add-ons are there, and what do they cost?

A highlight clip costs €250, a wedding album €500 and express editing €200. Add-ons come on top of your package. We record the exact scope in the proposal.

What is the difference between editing and retouching?

With editing, I balance colour and light across the images. Retouching goes into detail on selected highlights. All packages follow the same standard. They differ in the number of edited images, the number of retouched highlights and the length of coverage.

After the wedding I take time for selecting and editing. Colour, light and the order of the images give your story its coherence.

How does payment work, and when is my date secure?

An enquiry is not yet a booking: with it we first check whether your date is free and which scope fits. For wedding photography, my terms provide, unless the proposal says otherwise: 30% of the total price as a deposit when you book and the remaining 70% no later than seven working days before the wedding. The contract is concluded once your deposit has reached me and I confirm acceptance by email.

We also agree in the proposal when you receive your images. That depends on how many images I select and edit.

How do you find the right package?

Think about which parts of the day you want to see later. If you marry at a registry office and go for a meal afterwards, a smaller package is enough. If you start with getting ready in the morning and celebrate until the party, you need more time. Send me your date, place and a rough schedule, and I will tell you honestly which package I recommend for your day. I reply within 24 hours.
