Jewellery on a model or in still life?
On a model, jewellery reveals its scale and its relationship with skin, clothing and movement. Still life gives the piece its own setting, shaped by form, material and arrangement. The images you need depend on their intended use. A brand story can bring both approaches together.
Three projects, different visual approaches
The VON KÖCK magazine brings jewellery together with portraits and composed settings. The Orlov story with Ivana Essl uses strong contrast and was published by ELLE Bulgaria with a photography credit for Marina. Binadi combines model photographs and still-life images. The complete selections help you identify a visual direction for your own brand.

When should jewellery be shown on a model rather than in still life?
A model shows scale, proportions and how the piece looks against skin. Still life focuses attention on the object, its form and the composition. A brand series can benefit from both. Decide whether the image needs to convey how the jewellery feels to wear or highlight particular product features.

List the features that must be visible: setting, surface, stone, clasp or scale. Reflective materials respond strongly to light and their surroundings. A setup that works for a necklace will not necessarily suit a ring. A detailed product and shot list helps plan the lighting setup and required views.
Can you work to our art direction and with our team?
Yes. You can bring an existing concept, art direction and booked models or creative partners. We align the photography, shot list and approvals with your brief. If parts of the production still need arranging, I can help with locations, casting and team coordination. We agree the scope for your commission.
